Why is there no data coming to TritonWear Live?

If all Triton units are affected, here are the possible causes:

1. Antenna loose on Triton Connect

Check your Triton Connect to see if the antenna is loose. If it is, tighten the bolt that attaches the antenna to the Connect. If this was the issue you shouldn't need to rescan for devices or end your workout early; the data should start to be sent automatically.

2. Bluetooth not connected

Is the Bluetooth icon on the Live View red? If not, it means the Bluetooth connection has dropped. Another way to check is to look at the LEDs on the Triton Connect. If the lights are white, that means the Triton Connect is not connected to TritonWear Live via Bluetooth.

To fix the Bluetooth connection, go into the Settings Page on TritonWear Live and select the Bluetooth menu item. Scan for the devices again and select your Triton Connect from the list.

3. TritonWear Live is unresponsive

Are you able to navigate to different pages in the app? If not, the app might have crashed. Restart the app and you will be able to continue your workout. If this happens we’d appreciate it if you'd email us at support@tritonwear.com so we can look into the issue to make sure your experience is smoother in the future.

4. Unresponsive Triton Connect

Are you able to turn the Triton Connect on/off? If not, the Triton Connect might have crashed. Restart the Triton Connect by holding the power button down for 10 seconds — you should see the LEDs turn off and back on indicating the device has restarted. If this happens to your Triton Connect we’d appreciate it if you'd email us at support@tritonwear.com so we can look into the issue to make sure your experience is smoother in the future.

If only one Triton unit is at fault, here are the possible causes:

1. Heavy network load

When there are many Triton units active in the pool, or the Triton Connect is in a location that is less than ideal, the time between data being created on a unit and it being sent to TritonWear Live increases. You can fix this by moving the Triton Connect to a more central location with better line of sight to the units (see here), or by moving the athlete wearing the troublesome unit to a lane closer to the Triton Connect.

2. Unresponsive Triton unit

Are you able to turn the Triton unit on/off? If not, the unit might have crashed. Restart the unit by holding the power button down for 10 seconds — you should see the LEDs turn off and back on indicating the device has restarted. If this happens to a Triton unit we’d appreciate it if you'd email us at support@tritonwear.com so we can look into the issue to make sure your experience is smoother in the future.
